Two vast collections of several thousand vinyl LPs will be offered for sale at Eldreds in mid-September. With the majority of the collections focussed on late-1960’s and 1970’s progressive and heavy rock, the collections include both original recordings from the period and later digitally remastered versions and re-issues, many brand new and still in their shrink wrappers. Other genres of music will also feature, showcasing a wide variety of collectable music. Also offered for sale by auction in the same sale will be plenty of other music-related merchandise, books, and clothing, an electric bass guitar and performance equipment. An exciting summer awaits our music specialist, himself a prog rock aficionado, with plenty of long summer days cataloguing the collections and reminiscing his days (and nights) spent at the legendary Van Dike Club in Devonport, Plymouth.
